Putting a PBSF clip on a Cygolite Hotshot

Putting a PBSF clip on a Cygolite Hotshot by aacckk, on Flickr
Remove the clips from the Hotshot and PBSF. They're very similar in how they come off: Pull back and slide sideways. They're slightly different sizes, but the biggest difference is that one slides off to the right, one slides off to the left.
With both clips removed, slide the PBSF clip onto the Hotshot. Note that this is going on the wrong way and the clip will need to be bent back while sliding it on.
Add a drop of crazy-glue? On my Hotshot, this is really a tight-enough fit that I'm not going to bother with any glue, for now.
Note that the PBSF clip is about 2mm (about 1/16th") off center. No biggie.
Now I can use the Hotshot on my PBSF & PDW mounts!

Just don't abuse it; Planet Bike makes good stuff but it sounds like they might not make anything on small parts sales.

Very interesting! I have PBSF mounts on all of my bikes already and a Cygolite Hotshot. I also have the back half of a PBSF that lost its other half while on a ride. This will be perfect.
