Bikes: 1940s Fothergill, 1959 Allegro Special, 1963? Claud Butler Olympic Sprint, Lambert 'Clubman', 1974 Fuji "the Ace", 1976 Holdsworth 650b conversion rando bike, 1983 Trek 720 tourer, 1984 Counterpoint Opus II, 1993 Basso Gap, 2010 Downtube 8h, and...
As for the Campy left-hand downtube shifters... what is on the band, where you'd expect the right-hand shifter?
Right-hand only shifter bosses were often brazed to the frame in the 50's, when front derailleurs weren't so common. A lot of early fd's didn't use a shifter. When cable-operated fd's became common, there was a band that would clamp over the brazed-on boss. Such bands have a pretty big hole on the right side.

I would be interested in those Schwinn decals unless you think they are too old or dried out to stick. Better than throwing them out, right?

The Barn story.
I was in the bicycle industry for a long time. I called a friend that was also. He worked for Schwinn for 20 years and other companies as well. I called him asking for retro stuff. He just happened to be in a store in Freeport Illinois that shared he just picked up an old Paramount track bike and a very vintage Continental very inexpensively at this bard.
This womans Husband owned a bike shop that failed and he closed it in 1988. It looked like he was a panasonic, Ross and Nishiki dealer. After he closed the store he stored everything in a steel barn in German Valley Illinois.
I called that bike shop in Freeport and he said that the Widow needed help sorting through everything to figure out what was valuable and what stuff she should toss out. We all got together a week ago wednesday and I picked up that new old stock Panasonic frame and the Ochsner bike.
I went back last night with a friend that owns a bike shop and another young man my daughter works with at another bike shop. He is on this forum. he scored. He found a lot of valuable BMX stuff you might hear about as well.
I went in and piled everything of value and gave her some money for it. The rest went to a resale shop in Freeport. Tons and tons of handlebars, rusty used junk, about 100 pairs of cycle pro toe clips, Tons of steel handlebars and generic padded seats etc.
That concludes the story of the old bike stuff

Pastor Bob. it is a schwinn hub. I believe its new old stock as well. some surface corrosion but it cleans up. The cog has no wear and the freewheel works very well.

ober the cat...I have stickers for Sports tourer in black and white. paramount in black and white. Vintage continental, and suburban...they are yellowed a bit. If they can go regular mail,,meaning I have to bend them in half. I will give freely till im out. You must produce a picture of what you are replacing before I send it to you though. No profiteering on these if I give them away.

I guess there were two pairs of NOS Look pedals there. The P56 and P66. trying to figure out the difference. Any ideas.......Please dont tell me one is red and the other is black..lol
It also turns out that one of the simplex rear deraileurs is NOS as well. No wear on the pinch bolt, pullies and chain.
Dont think im piling on guys but you have to see what its like here. Im in my chair jumping up and down and my family thinks im out of my mind. They dont have the same appreciation for this stuff...lol

Paramount hubs would have had a hollow asle and no freewheeling capability, only sngle side fixed.... pretty sure this is not a paramount but for early New Worlds and other lightweight before coaster brakes became popular.

but you could at least tell us some of the story of how you came across such a score!
