primo stem design

any comments? like, it seems like a slightly weak design. by that i mean, lacking in strength...

Stems is stems, it's nothing new in the basic way it works and it's almost certainly strong enough. Check the odyssey elementary stem if you want to see a different stem.

Apparently it's actually stronger than a normal stem, not that I've ever broken a normal one. The fact that it weighs less is just by-product of the design.

the idea behind it is that there is no bolts on the back of the stem to hit your knees on. something i do all the time doing whips

The Odyssey Elementary is designed by George French, aka the guy behind G-Sport, so you know it's a well designed product. go to www.gsport.co.uk and read about all of his parts. It doesn't even make sense its so smart and in depth.
