Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

yes, it appears that way. he's not bad at it either.

i'm surprised he rides moustache bars - i'd totally assume he'd just do drops with hoods.

Bikes: All have flats.

So are hipsters going to give up PBR and Cocaine for Doping and Testosterone injections?
Are we going to see pack of tight jean wearing buttknockers going UP hills instead of skidding down them?
HOPE!

Wow. The camera jumped around too quick, but it was super dope to see a professional whip a bunch of fixster butts on the downhill.

He had his own collab FC with Futura when he did the graphics on his bike!

What frame was Lance on?

That's wicked, good to see that someone of his stature isn't ashamed/beneath going out and kicking it with some more 'regular' fixed gear guys.

Frame looks like the same on the Momentum issue (#33 I think) with him in (he chats about his new store there in Austin):
