unusual handlebars

so, i'm starting to find that i'm displeased by the look of most handlebars, and i was wondering if anyone out there has links to some interesting, strange, or just seldom-seen bars. something in the family of these:

https://www.yellowjersey.org/nittott.html

or even pictures of bikes with fun stuff on. lets see it.

Bikes: Converted 1997 Trek Singletrack 930 singlespeed and a Kona Lavadome singlespeed, fixed Dahon folding bike, fixed 27" Miyata road bike, early 70's Raleigh Chopper

While in NYC yesterday on our way back to the meat packing district where we parked our car, I noticed either a fixed or singlespeed bike with straight bars chopped down to where there was barely enough room for brake levers and cut down grips! I know narrow bars are good for messing but these were ridiculously narrow! I shoulda took a picture! I did take a pic of those funny 7 man bikes that was mentioned here in another post. I'll post that tomorrow.

I thought those were for playing polo. I've thought about trying out a very short set on MTB bars. I think someone posted a pic of thier bike with polo bars but I could be wrong.

Bikes: Crust Romanceur, VO Polyvalent, Surly Steamroller, others?

For some reason I want to say it was cyclorat that posted the pic w/ the polo bars, but I could be totally off.

That's roughly what my Bridgestone bars looked like after I got done with the hacksaw.

After trying for a couple of days to climb with them, I've swapped in some wider bars unsullied by my customizing.

The bars I saw were just a tad wider to allow for brake levers. I'm assuming the bike was either a mess's bike or a commuter's who liked to dodge between tight NYC traffic. And since there were 2 brake levers, I'm assuming (yet again) that the bike was an SS or geared bike.

Those polo bars, on a fix, might be a better theft deterrent than a kryptonite.

Bikes: I built the Bianchi track bike back up today.

Better even than eggbeaters? I've actually thought of doing similar on my bike, mainly because of getting sqeezed way too much by buses. My hands are almost always right by the stem anyways. Sometimes I just ride with one hand on the stem, palm down, fingers over the bar, and the other holding a cigarette.

Now that is freakin twitchy!

Bikes: A few more than my fair share.

The bars on this bike are pretty unusual.

Those bars probably weigh more than the frame.
