Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

We all love our bikes and we love showing them off. But I, for one, would like to see pictures of the places where ya'll ride your bikes. So post up some pictures of the places you ride. Especially interesting would be some underbelly-of-the-city places you've found rolling around your town.

Here's my first one, not really an underbelly.

I don't know, there's probably a lot of freaky deviants in towns like those.

Heh, not that many, and mostly bums. Yes, it's not the most exciting place to live, but I don't need to worry about being run over every second I'm out there.

This bridge in Stockholm is my favourite place to ride over. Great view over the city and it always reminds me why I love living here!

it needs no pic (a virtue out of necessity as i am camera/computer interface stupid), but the williamsburg bridge is one of the places i roll a lot for the sheer fun of goin' da manhattan way. in the mid-mornin' with no wind you can haul. i got up to 29.5 mph accordin' to my cycloputer a week or so ago. man i love that li'l roll!
