Scott Foil.

Now that i've learned the intricacies, i think future attempts will take less time.

The cable for rear brake can be guided using a magnet. Still learning how to deal with deralleur.

Also, i've got a ton of housing chopped up and useless as i wasnt sure how long things shouldbe...

Now that you've got it wired, when you need to run new cables next time attach a string or wire to the old cable. As you pull the old cable from the frame the new string/guide line will be in the frame. Then, attaché the new cable to the guideline and pull the guideline through. You're done! Should be very fast.

a magnet and/or a pick can be helpful when doing this without use of a guide wire.

On my ride today, two pit bulls started chasing after myself and my riding partner. One of them wasn't paying attention, and ran head first into a mailbox post. There was a very loud, distinct, and audible "thung!" when it hit.

I laughed so hard I nearly crashed. I hope the pooch is ok.

Really?!?!
Bet you wouldn't have laughed so hard if he had your leg in his mouth when he hit the post

Nice edit.

Pits get a bad rap because of crappy owners, like that Vick ******. I've had more problems with Chihuahua's and German Shepherds than Pits.

The breed used to be the mascot for the Marine Corps because of their temperament and loyalty. The breed also used to be considered a great child's companion; "Petey" from "The Little Rascals" was a pit, and so was "Nipper," the RCA Victor dog (you're old enough to remember records, I'm sure).

A Pit even did real well on the "Frisbee Dog" circuit, and won a world championship.

BTW -- you'd love them, for the most part they're goofy, stocky, muscular, and break wind like there's no tomorrow.

I love 'em.
Used to be one of my nicknames as I am relentless once I get pissed. The only way to stop me is to shoot me or knock me out

My buddy had a 125 pound neopolitant pit - scary ass dog.

I've got a blue and a white one. The white one just turned 13, and she's gotten to be a bit bossy in her old age. The blue is 5 and a goof ball -- the other day he ran across the living room, skidded on the tile, and slammed into a book case nearly knocking it over.

Both were rescues, and for the most part, all they want to do is be near us.

And fart.

Tie them together with a piece of string or use some electrical tape.

Use the thin plastic tubing, like the inner liner from cable casing, and stuff the wire into the end of it.
My lbs guy has it, I don't know where it comes from.

1. better check what they'll charge you for work on that kind of routing - many shops charge extra (as it costs them extra)
2. haven't been around, what did you get?

Bike tear-down yesterday.

Cleaned cassette and chain.
Washed frame.
Cleaned wheels.
Cleaned derailleurs.
Rear brake cable is corroded.
Rear shifter needs a superglue repair.
Derailleur hanger missing a bolt and twisted - no wonder my shifting has been jacked.
Front wheel needs new bearings.

I am at the point where I want to get this thing ready to be sold and get rid of it for a new bike. 2010 Cannondale SuperSix Ultegra. Unfortunately, the market is saturated with 2-3 year old carbon bikes. Very likely I'll be stuck with this until it is crashed beyond repair.

That dog deserves a better photography. Better videography, too.
