It was interesting riding my old bike (C'dale Six13) today versus usually riding my Felt AR1. It's entirely possible that I like the C'dale better. It has a snappier feel to it. It's less aero and a little rougher all around ride, but all in all, a pretty damned good bike. I had forgotten that.
I'm pretty sure that the next bike I buy will be one of those chinese knock offs for cheap. I just don't think I can justify the big $$$ that the big names charge. Having said that, I don't think the next bike is coming any time soon, so it's a bit of a moot point.

my good bike is 7 years old.
new is nice, but not necessarily better.

Ex is an ex mod. While I can no longer eliminate him from BF, I can use my Army training to hunt him down and garrotte him in his sleep.
I should start a poll on what string folks would like me to use...and material. I'm partial to the high E in steel. A lot of folks like nylon but I find if it slips at all it burns and the wire has more bite. Low E is ghetto. You might as well use hardware store rope.

You could apply for the job, or would that be a case of the fox guarding the hen house?
