I think he's still around, but the mods just move all his threads to the Foo forum.

Went into witness protection for turning in the ring leader of the Knock Off Rivendell frame gang. Here is what he looks like now.

I see what you did there!

I don't want to upset anyone...but Fender actually is dead. He apparently choked on vomit...only, and here's the weird part, it wasn't his vomit.

Help us out here ... is Fender1 the cow or the snake in this scenario?

Hmmm, Fender1? Fender1. Sound's vaguely familiar... I've heard the name, but can't place him....

Hmmmm, give me time, it'll come to me... Fender1, Fender1. Wait, WAIT! It's at the tip of my tongue! No, sorry, that's not him.

Geez, I'm at a complete loss here! Help me out guys, who is this guy? (and why do we care?)

He's been overshadowed by fender2, who will be superseded by bothfenders once the bike is complete.

The second top tube snapped and he crashed and burned. Solicitations to Rivendell for a memorial went unanswered.

The story I heard was he had a partial sex change operation and has since joined a third rate carnival in Eastern Europe as their bearded lady to raise money to complete the process.
