I am looking for a set of 7spd Shimano XT Thumb shifters or just the top caps for each. Have $$ and trade goods. Let me know what you are looking for.

No one cares
looking to trade an entire bike. It's a 23" Soma generation with suntour seven components, 27" steel wheels, newer tires. It looks like it's barely been ridden.
I'd be willing to trade or for, well, anything I have listed a few posts above, or whatever. I really would just like to get it out of my garage as it's taking up space. It would be a good commuter or city bike for someone as it's not worth much, but it would be a great beater/every day rider.

Have:
A Japanese-made lugged steel touring frame w/ no mfg markings. Seat tube measures 24.5" (c-t), top tube is 21" (c-c), chainstay is 17.5", rear spacing is 120mm. Rear dropouts are SunTour GS w/ threaded stops, BB threading is English. Brake cable guide brazeons on the top tube, and down tube brazeons for a cable stop, so this was intended for bar-end shifters. I'll take a pic tomorrow if someone is interested, but it looks like a solidly made frame, intended for touring, and for someone with long legs and shorter torso. Some paint chips here and there, but no rust; definitely a rider.
Looking for:
--a decent 700c wheelset
--leather saddles
--Stronglight or TA cranksets
--interesting bits

WTB/Seeking: mid 80's Trek 890 57CM frame
I ran down a Trek '84 890 ATB/MTN frame that I'm using as a winter commuter... very nice. This one is just a bit small for me.
If you happen to have the larger size (23"/57.5CM) frame and want to unload it, let me know. Condition is not critical (paint) as long as it is straight.

I have one now, but it's a makeshift Traveler with a 42-19 cog - which sails up hills, but wants to dislocate my knees going down. I have an inbound project that is going to need all black components to look "right".
Then I'm going to put the Traveler back to it's old self and find it a new home.

WTB: Front/rear set of Suntour Mountech derailleurs. Yep, old school MTB bike stuff, so rear must be long cage. I'm pretty sure they all were though, right? Hopefully some clean ones, without too much scarring. Doesn't have to be perfect though, mainly just functional.,,,,BD

Also have a couple of long cage Cyclone MK II RD 'GT' RD's, both exc mechanically but one has the markings worn off so no bling. A much better operating, much lighter and much more long wearing RD than a Mountech IMO. Depends though, if it has the chain wrap capacity (I think it's 34t you can stretch to 36 or 37t if you are mindful about cross chaining) and largest cog size (32t?) that's required. Bling costs more. No bling brings less. Trade or Washingtons.
Want:
--Shimano 8 speed bar cons
--Shimano 'br-m550' cantilevers (Deore LX early '90's)
--Gravity Research 'Rim Crusher' Cantilevers

I have a line on a rear MT, with your front that would complete the set? The rear cog on an 84 830 is an atom 38T, believe it or not. I might could swap the freewheel out, but it's original to the bike, as Mountech is "supposed" to be. Somewhere along the line someone grafted on the almost all steel AGtech. Let me see how the rear one works out, and I'll let you know! I didn't think these parts would turn up so fast! Sweet.,,,,BD
The receiver of the Mountech...It's a little ugly, but I love it. After another look at the catalog, someone swiped the front brake
drop/hanger as well. That should be a little easier to find.
