In my case, this bike was a consignment at the LBS and they were unwilling to discount as it had already been discounted. I'm not sure how long they had it, but I had been watching it for a number of months, I suspect the deal breaker for most shopper were the 13-21 Freewheel and the broken cable guide. Anyway FWIW, the LBS charges the seller 30% fee for selling.
I know that RBM at Richardson had a few nice classic Paramounts on consignment and I thought they were pretty good deals. I wanted to snatch one but have too many in the stable including a nice 71 and a Waterford needing to be builtup.

They did, and this was the last of that group, and technically not a "classic". If I remember correctly the others were 1970's mostly (but I really don't remember).

Well, dropped the frame off at Southwest Frame Works here in Dallas, and gave them the color to use. I did in fact go with a yellow, no metalic, and no pearlescent, just a good bright yellow. They said it'll be about 6-8 weeks, but I suspect (hope) It'll be faster but we'll have to see. Presumably in the meantime I'll get the components cleaned up and ready to install. I'll install a modern cartridge style BB (the cups were pitted on the oem Campy one), I'll probably put a new headset (Campy Record) on even though that old roller bearing Stronglight seems like it'll clean up nicely, and new cables/housing. I might use the oem grey/silver housing because it matches the decals, but I hate installing new cables in 40 year old housing which didn't have a liner. Unfortunately, the liner I have doesnt seem to fit inside, anyway, I've got a bit of time to sort some of those things out. Once it's done and back together, I'll post some new pics and I promise not to have the washer/dryer as the background!

Thanks for all of the comments up to this point and thanks for the pics that you've included.

Correct.
Those paramounts from the 70s were very nice and campy SR setups.
I would still consider the waterfords classic as they were 80..94.

https://waterfordbikes.com/w/culture...ord-1980-1994/ and classic riding steel frames.

Had an ‘86 blue Paramount in, um, 1986! My first bike built from the ground up.
