I would stick with that honey Fizik. It's the best stuff anyway. It looks fine.
If every single person answered his own question with his own search, why would anyone post anything on bf?
And what's wrong with posting a photo of his bike? Or what's wrong with making up an excuse to post a photo of a bike? They're both decent photos of the drive-side.

Bar tape should match the saddle. Black bar tape and remove the billboard rim decals and it would be fine. You can get some smaller HED decals.

Looks like Fizik makes a lighter beige, but I still wouldn't choose it.

This one's being a good sport about it, and I actually enjoyed the mountain view more than the pics of the bike, so I appreciate that it was probably an excuse to post some nice pics.
But the ones that get me are the ones where somebody gets all mad and rude because we can't figure out exactly what kind of sunglasses their 3 year old daughter is going to like.

Another thought, Wilmingtech , is silver. It’s just a riff on the grey theme, but if you can find the right one, it might give that splash of flair [I think] you want without going too far off theme.
I have a black/red/grey rig, too, and use Supacaz Kush in silver. My grey looks to be a bit more metallic or satin sheen than yours, and I have more bright on the bike (like brake tracks and chain in particular) which may play to the silver tape a bit more, but I wanted to throw an example of the grey possibilities out there.

That almost looks like the Rhubarb striped upsidedown cake I baked last year. The rhubarb strips are a combination of red and green. Gently cook rhubard that has been sliced length wise in a sugar syrup. Lay the strips diagonally in cake pan, pour battery over and bake, Invert and serve. Hmmm. I may have wandered off topic!

I just bought some new bar tape for my dark grey bike. I considered quite a few colour options and then went with black again. I would only consider beige tape on a vintage rig. Lighter colours also end up looking dirty after a few rides too. Black just hides all the nasties.

Apologies for momentarily derailing this thread: For the OP, what were the issues with the Pirelli P Zeros? I am also considering those for my new build so curious to hear what your experience was.

Sweet bike, beautiful frame! Wheels are a bit over the top, but it's a really cool looking ride. But the tan/beige tires and tape kind of ruins it for me. I noticed you have some silver/gray accents on the paint. I'd go with that on the tape. The feng shui will be much better. Heck, you can even get tires with gray sidewalls.

Get different tires with black sidewalls and life will be so easy.

Forget about matching the tires, they're invisible. The dominant visual cues on the bike in your photo are the red Ridley logo and the white HED logo on your rims. You could try this:
Get red bar tape, red cable housing (if there is housing), and red water bottles to match the Ridley logo. Red would look good. Make an effort to get tape and housing in the same red as the Ridley logo. If you like the way that looks, buy a red jersey and helmet!
The HED logos are a distraction, if you can remove them, it would help focus on your red theme.
The secondary possibility is white tape (or Cinelli Zebra tape), housing and bottles to match the HED logo, but... not as cool.
Good luck!

Isn't it nuts how a little colour mismatch can just drive ya crazy?
I fully understand, but really, Its close...
You will probably find the right colour when you quit looking for it.
Ya might try a triple basket weave of Red, Honey and Black.

The other Pic with the GP5000s was on the road up to Mt.Saint Helens during the "Tour De Blast" ride 2 weekends ago.
It is pretty out here in WA State. The climbs never get old.

I'm with you on the dark colors and I know I'm getting roasted here for having the Beige tape but I've never gotten so many compliments on a bike before.
Still looking for a lighter beige. No one can seem to find it.
