Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've been eyeing those myself for a little while now. More reasonable than the S-Works of course. I'd be interested to hear a review on them.

Will definitely post up a review of them on my ****ty little blog when I get a chance... I'm a big sissy when it comes to riding in the cold... and now wet that is phoenix right now though.

Also, I came SOOO close to scoring some discounted 2012 s-works, with a shop discount on top... I would have jumped on them, but the one they had in my size was 1 size too small.

Warmer gloves (hopefully) since my current full-fingered gloves don't help with the cold at all apparently.

I bought these same shoes a few months ago. NO MORE sore feet or numbness. These are the best shoes I have ever had. Glad you like them too.

Those look a lot like my S-works shoes which are now several years old. Great shoes.

I love my Cyclocross speeds.. They do well in any terrain that I put my cross bike through.

A Specialized uber visible ultra lightweight wind deflector jacket. Just a bit more protection for winter riding when temps are in the 30s, but easy to reduce down to fit in the cantle bag for a "just in case" carry. And neck warmers, too. Love those for pulling up over your lower face if the air gets too cold.
