The score information graphic in the upper left corner on ESPN college baseball coverage can't be any smaller and still be seen by the naked eye. SMFH

Towards the end of today's ride, about a mile from home, I saw a cyclist sitting on the side of the road with his front wheel off. I slowed down and asked "you ok??" he said yes but he was obviously not fixing his flat, so I stopped anyway.
He said he was leading a group of boy scouts who were riding and working on the cycling merit badge, but he had a flat towards the end of his ride and his wife (who was apparently on the ride) took his pump and would be coming back, eventually. I gave him my pump and said he could/should go ahead and fix his flat. I watched him work on the flat and bit my tongue several times, as he was doing several things wrong, and eventually I had to start giving him step-by-step instructions, it took him quite a bit of time but he was able to patch his tube. While he was playing with the tube I was able to find and extricate the culprit shard that had caused the flat, it had penetrated the Gatorskin's tread and was just barely poking through the casing. In these situations I find it wiser to remove the shard from the tread side to avoid cutting any more of the cords. I gave him all my secret tips on patching a tube and reinstalling a tire, I had to demonstrate the "roll the tire over the rim" technique but he was able to get it done.

I whipped up a batch of hardish wax this morning, for waxing the soles of my planes in use. It is just plain shocking how much easier they slide across a piece of wood if they are sharp and waxed. Of course I trashed the kitchen. My kitchen. The wife refuses to share a kitchen with me.

They have the same soles as my 237s, which is why I got them. First couple of rides, the uppers were a little stiff and the was some uncomfortable rubbing. They've been awesome since, though.

Spent the morning in FoCo with the realtor. One, she is great and actually listens and understood all of my/ our particular needs for why most houses are immediately not going to work.
Two, I got to see the nicer part of FC instead of driving down the Main Street with the strip malls and the like. Gorgeous.
And three, one of the houses we looked at was flawless. Home theater that is basically a sensory deprivation chamber. Walk-in in-law suite. Kitchen with massive built-in fridge. Sunny office for AG. Built-in sauna. Shower that is nearly as great as the current one. AND THE WHOLE THING IS QUIET! There was a family looking and when they talked in the house they were loud. Outside, in the yard, I couldn't hear them when I was looking through the window at them. The only thing was the GenAv planes that a bunch of people were flying... but you could actually barely hear them indoors, and I assume Saturday mornings in the summer are the worst for it. And the master suite is up, so that was a barrier to the main living area for those times they're flying, and can't imagine they fly at night. I am infatuated with that house and very sad we can't try for it. Listed at 1.2mn, but...

Google assistant is useless. And easily hurt when told so.
My current phone has three modes of access, so it's nigh on impossible to even touch the phone without her pushing her way in.
I guess it's disable time again

The way things are laid out in most every house I've looked at means that OLED will be swamped in daylight. My TV now is cheap and doesn't even have LD but still can't see the elevated blacks because it's almost never dim, let alone dark. Even tossed around the idea of the LG QNED90, but no decisions anytime soon of course.
The theater would really be my fortress of solitude, not a theater. Probably the only place I'd be comfortable with an OLED. Xbox and movies when I need to escape.

Glad to hear vaxxed. I honestly put more blame on the owner, but that's my bias. Humans can be dumber than dogs sometimes.
