Hey, Tuz- I forgot you were doing one too- great job! That does look ambitious. Looks like you made enough joints on that one bike to build three. Also, I found you blog entries very interresting for a fellow newb. Great idea with all those disected joints and the stubby little mini frame.

I like the Curbdestroyer bike too.
Thought of a way to do tubes like that in carbon, ( sorry, if it works it'll be a "secret", if not I'll tell you.
Ultraman; tubes are all mold/ mandrel or bladder molded. Sorry no shortcuts I know of. I did build the main triangle tubes in 6.5 hrs though. 2lbs structural foam was left in the chain and seatstays. 11g's each.
Latest builds and a finished Hammerhead;

Here's my very first frame. I built it at the end of last winter and completed it this summer. It has Columbus SL tubing. I built it all in my garage with only hand tools (no jigs or anything). Hopefully more will come.

Thanks.
Yeah, it is. I just sanded down the clear coat and sprayed it with primer, color and then clear.
Low, haha. I messed up on the head tube length and had to change the chain stay angle to keep a horizontal top tube. It's not too bad, though.
It rides awesome regardless of the few, minor mistakes I made. Deffinitely beats buying someone else's frame!
