Intervals tomorrow, then 50-ish on Fri and done for the week if the weekend looks sail-able. If not, I'll go shorter on Fri and take a long ride this weekend. Could make it to 180, but that's a lot of miles for me.

I had to evict a squatter.
The wife was tending to the raised garden bed when she stopped in her tracks and asked if I'd put some grass clippings in there for some reason. "Uh, no. Guess I'd better check it out, eh?"
Yeah, something had burrowed under the overhanging rail and then brought in a couple good handfuls of grass for bedding. No babies, thankfully, but we'll have to keep an eye out so that they don't try again.

Turned on my Wahoo at the start of the ride and it greeted me with a low battery warning and 1% charge. I know that I charged the thing on Monday morning and I've only taken two 1-hour rides since - it should have had enough juice for a century and more. Had to fall back on my Fitbit tracking (I don't think that the Strava app pairs with HRMs any more, and I at least wanted that data) and fly blind, like some kind of plebe.

Regarding riding, my Garmin says that I need rest and my legs say they agree.

My whole body agrees, and I have no sensors. What I've realized is I need to eat better. A 15 mile ride (granted it was hot and humid) wiped me out for the day. I felt like I'd ridden 100. Those planks and bridges and leg lifts are taking their toll as well.

Anyway after that there is a six mile granny gear climb before you can get out of there. So, yeah, my legs are sore today.
