But if I had been watching the game, I might well be.
I just had a good idea. Thanks to the prednisone, I often find myself wide awake at 3-4 a.m. these days. Are there any baseball games on TV then? They could help restore my sleep.

Are Austro-Daimler bikes still a thing, or is this just a paint job?

The vast majority of the hotdog carts back then were owned by Greeks. They were often passed down the the children. The guy I worked for had a son who was about 12 at the time. Some ten years later, I stopped to get a pretzel at a cart. The son was working it and remembered me. The parents likely had moved back to Greece. The business was all cash with huge profit margins on many items being 100% or more. (That $0.70 hotdog probably cost less than $0.35 cents.) People (often the wives) would go back to Greece for a couple of weeks every summer and smuggle cash with them to deposit in Greek banks. When they had enough saved, the parents would retire back to the homeland.

I was at Cape Henlopen State Park in DE. It was once Fort Miles, which was established to guard the Delaware Bay and the entrance to the river from Nazi invasion during WWII. After the war, the base was no longer needed. The land was eventually donated in pieces to the state. The park is fabulous, especially for riding. There are several trails throughout the park including one that included a "boardwalk" over a marshy area. There was a full moon ride while I was there. Dozens of cyclist rode on the trail that runs behind where I was camping out to the a beach overlook to watch the moon rise. Dolphins and whales are regularly seen from the beach during warmer weather. It's virtually impossible to get a weekend site unless you book way early. For Easter weekend of 2023 (A trip I obviously ended up not being able to take), I booked in late December. The huge campground was virtually booked solid already.
The tall structure in the second photo is a former watch tower that was used to look for Nazi navy activity. Fort Miles had gun batteries. While shots were never fired in anger, target practice regularly took place there.

Mechanic question. My new mechanic (I had just assumed all mechanics knew what oil to put into what car) changed the oil from 0-20 synthetic, to 15-40 mineral. 5000 km ago. It was just changed again, to 15-40. I was under the hood checking for a coolant leak, and the valves were really loud. I could hear them well, as opposed to their former silence. Is it too late to ask him to change back to the 0-20? Or is this just a function of an aging car. 2017 Fit, with 85,000 km in very hot weather year round. Thanks

Never assume any mechanic knows anything. The oil fill cap should be labeled with the type of oil Honda recommends. If not there, go with the owner's manual. I would think if you're using synthetic you should stay with it. And use a good filter. Crap filters can cause problems.
