Does the chain look too long? It looks like the chain is on the lowest gear and the RD is hitting the chain stay.

You didn't drill that spider. And would you expect someone to buy your RARE Fuji Pantagraphed SR triple?

I didn't have to but might have been prepared to do so if cheapness had demanded it and yes, some unspecified but tasteful, discriminating and weird person might have sufficient funds burning a hole in his pocket right this minute. Hey, it could happen!

And it's not actually pantographed and it's a Sugino.

Here's your chance to buy a half-empty 150g tub of old grease for only $199USD!!!

Remember, as the seller says, "No Campagnolo restoration is genuine unless you use genuine Campagnolo grease."

The listing is not there anymore. Was someone actually trying to sell this Walmart bike as a Specialized?

The amount of effort that has been put in on this. A full repaint? Or someone who just had giant S-Works decals laying around? It's so weird.

I can't say I understand the logic here either. I have seen Denali bikes repainted with Cannondale stickers applied being sold as Cannondales on CL.

Bargain Bianchi. "$1,365 (or, REASONABLE offer)" Bear in mind that this price is marked down from $2100, and I get the impression that whatever you might offer will not be considered reasonable.

Crust lightening Bolt - $2,800 (Davis)

Selling my crust lightening Bolt, disk brake version with the really pretty brazing. Need some money for my wedding and I already have too many bikes so here it is:

The rear derailleur has been replaced with an indexed bar setup, and the front derailleur isn't included because it has sentimental value. Because I'm sentimentally attached to bike parts. I can give you something from my box-o-parts if you want.

Specs/what is included:
54cm crust lightening Bolt
Velocity 27.5 wheelset
Nitto x crust 1" Threadless stem
Crust towel rack bar (ridiculously wide)
Mechanical actuated hydraulic brakes
Long pull cane creek drop levers
46/34 chainrings
11/36 11 speed cassette
Soma seatpost
Brooke's carved c17 cambium
Race face pedals

No not much work. Just a simple lift and toss into the scrap metal bin.

A pair of Schwinn Suburbans "...They have years of dust on them. Several years ago the Ocean City, MD bike dealer told me they could be worth 3 to 4 hundred dollars each. I want to sell them both as a pair for $200 ($100 each). They are in excellent shape and though old have had very little use."

Wow, you think the rider involved in that crash is still walking around. That’s an old Chicago Schwinn frame.

It always amazes me when they get the name wrong.

In Canada you once saw every bike called a CCM or a Raleigh and I understand the go to name in the US was Schwinn

But this? What suggested R.A.L.E.I.G.H. and not F.U.J.I.?

Did the seller misspell "dust"? Dust doesn't settle upwards onto rims and seatposts. Dust or rust, it doesn't make sense that the seller would not attempt any sort of cleaning.

The seller doesn’t really gain anything or return investing elbow grease and energy. New owner may actually enjoy the whole brought back from this condition to rideable part. If not they enjoyed the process of cleaning the bikes. They will look at the finished product and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment; remembering where it started from…as the seller it is just a chore…diminishing returns and all…I’ve had sellers hurriedly run an old towel over a paint job with a beautiful protective layer of dust and totally dull the paint!
My favorite situation is when the seller takes a bike stored for decades and rides it like they rode it decades ago! Balls and races in the bottom brackets and the hubs get scored or worse!
