was that manufactured and sold originally as a mountain bike? Or was it somehow frankenbiked from a colnago road frame?

I doubt that was a road frame with the swing arm rear suspension. I hate that wheelset though. I'd be too concerned about riding light to enjoy a full squish ride.

I wonder if this can be legit.

A seller in the UK has these Zefal Rev 88 frame pumps in all sizes for $9.99, with free shipping. They've been up for some time now, and I just can't believe this can be legit. The shipping cost alone has to be over $10.

I don't know, would you trust a mechanic with a spotlessly clean workbench like that?

There's a guy (i think?) on Ebay that always posts a picture of his lovely significant other holding the item for sale while she's wearing a bikini. It's like a short circuit in my brain when I'm looking at wrenches and see a wrench in front of some woman's decolletage. It's not stupid if it works.

Maybe if you have a donor NR mech, you can put this thing back together for just ... $250?

Rear dropouts from a Trek DS
"Rear aluminum dropouts from a Trek DS Made for quick release disc brake hubs. Came from a wrecked bike. Part of the drive side chainstay might not be straight. This could be good for someone wanting to build a custom bike or trailer. Going to leave this for a few weeks before I decide to toss out."

A Giant Viscount Lambert?

https://madison.craigslist.org/bik/d...661450610.html

Seems like a lot of effort went into that restoration, I wonder if he'll ever sell it?

Anybody want to help this guy out? Doesn't require "brain skills" as much as it does patience and the ability to track your attempts.

This guy regularly has a dozen or so bikes on CL at any given time. Not sure what the Viscount/Lambert references refer to, but this looks like a parts-bin build to me. Overpriced, I reckon, but he might take an offer.

If you look closely at this bike, it's a Viscount Lambert Aerospace or Gran Touring model from the early 1970s bike that's been turned into a Giant with new paint and decals.
