Weather finally warmed up a bit from where it's been temps in the 50's made for pleasant rides.

A little sloppy with all of the melting snow but still not too bad. 20 miles yesterday and 19 today. Should also be able to commute next week for all 5 days. More snow next weekend. I'm so ready for spring.

A beautiful sunny day with temps in the 60s was the backdrop my ride today. Short bibs and short sleeves. 41 miles all alone. There was some wind, about 10mph, but not really noticeable.
I had planned to ride with some friends in another town, but about 15 miles into the drive to the start I realized I had left the bag with all my riding gear in the kitchen at home. I suppose I can look forward to more and more such memory lapses.

Rode the Tour de Palm Springs yesterday on the tandem. Would be an easy ride on a single; the first 15 miles of gradual climb took a bit out of the captain (me), but we finished up decently. Would definitely do this again, but start off even more slowly.

I went on a ride a few (maybe 10) years back where a YOUNG guy with a toddler in a bike trailer totally forgot his bicycling shoes, and had to cancel. It happens to anyone no matter the age.

I finally took the 29er to some singletrack trails at Markham Park. I did some warmups, mostly novice, and a couple of intemediate. Did about an hour. Lots of fun, but it didn't really happen because I didn't take any photos ;-)

YES!! 35 miles on a bright, blue sunny day with the wife on the new recumbents, it's been a LONG time since we've done a decent ride together, due to weather and her work schedule. The views of Pikes Peak were awesome the ride excellent, lot's of terrain changes and of course hills. Part of the route was on a State Highway, with great pavement, wow, these recumbents ride like strech limo on this surface! So good to feel "a bit too warm" for once. Just excellent day!

Managed 45 miles today after lunch. Sunny with temps around 60 with some wind from the SW. Worked out to be a headwind about 40% of the ride, and either a cross wind or tail wind for the remainder. I hit 20+ mph on the flats... with the tail wind. LOL. I purposefully kept the route as flat as possible, since I'm trying to increase my ride length/duration in preparation for a 200 km brevet in the near future. Forecast for next Saturday is 72 degrees! Woo-hoo! Can't wait for spring and longer days, even if they're windy.

Got in 49 miles in windy 42° weather when I started out. Temps got a tad warmer but the winds never did and I fought them most of the ride.
It was a workout but still good riding.

35 miles, 76 degrees, some high clouds, slight wind, perfect day again. Went to Santa Fe Dam, big crowd at the rest stop. Had a good time chatting and nice ride home.

90 miles, beautiful weather. It should have been a fine ride but my legs were tired from teaching 3 spin classes last week so the ride today turned into a bit of a grind.

I made myself feel better when I got home by baking some triple chocolate brownies.

Riding on a rails to trails path - lots of hard snow, ice and slush makes for a challenging ride. It was the first time the temp was warm enough for a ride in many days. I'm badly out of shape, but getting back on and riding again feels sooooooooo good!

An easy 16 mile recovery ride after (my first) 10K foot race yesterday. OMG, everything still works!

28 sun-soaked, no wind miles and first time roadbiking since early January. Felt good to be back in the saddle and do some climbing.

I got out for 30 minutes of tempo today in a perfect example of why miles don't mean a thing. I rode 3.6 miles in 30 min on a 7% grade at a steady power pace. 8 miles total in a whole 45 minutes.

Just 20 minutes, about 5 miles I think. It was terribly windy and cloudy, but my legs were itching to spin.

Another beautiful day in Atlanta (sunny and hi 50s/lo 60s [that's 14-16C]). Did 31 miles on the Litespeed. Still trying to get the Specialized dialed in.
