If I recall correctly you got roasted because of bizarre seat and bar angles that help you go super fast or something...And then didnt handle it in what would be considered a graceful manner lol. Maybe that was someone else, I cant remember. Its cool man, we all make mistakes.

Buying a Giant is like buying a house in the suburbs. Well maybe not exactly as most Giants don't start crumbling due to poor construction after 5 years. Some people don't care if there are 6 houses on their block that are identical to their own.

Taking it easy!
It does look the same as others being black - though its definitely not identical, The Giant SL1 ALUX (anodised silver) is fairly uncommon bike in the UK and the SLR ALUXX hydro-formed frameset I have was never retailed and only available to dealers. The components I chose to suit my riding and budget. Setup/fit was established with the assistance of a former track/road racer and also trained fitter.
Gratuitous opportunity for another pic so its not all words.

I like the colour! And that it looks to have exactly the same geometry/angles as my TCR (when you overlay the images).
Erm! - perhaps remove the sub branding/logos (rims/stem) and an have an all back saddle/post combo.

I like those ideas. I actually want to black out the FD, pedals, and skewers too, because was built with on hand parts so little by little I will.

For shot - centre valves top/bottom, small ring at rear, flatten peddles and shift some leaves. Background a bit distracting/fussy.

The patterns on the fence overlayed with the striations on the wheels, monochromatic Canyon logo and odd white rotors are all very disconcerting.
The way the pattern on the fence interacts with the shape of the bottle cages is particularly disorienting. I feel dizzy.
I'm unconvinced that there isn't a zebra in the photo somewhere too.
The whole thing needs to be pressure washed and sprayed with Olympic.

You are correct. They are not white, but a light silver. Dura-Ace ones are black. I don't really like how they look either, however. I'll probably change them out for something else at some point. Those fins are a sail for crosswinds.
