All you have to do is look at where the seatstays join the seat tube to see it's different than the pic on Nashbar. Also, the dropouts are different.

Maybe the pic on Nashbar is a fraud.

btw - you can't see pics on roadbikereview if you're not a member.

i agree with you 100%. now that i got that 1st cup of coffee in me & my eyes open a lil bit...
the differences are obvious.
even if you don't log-in there to see pics, you can read his story about buying & building up a nashbar vuelta frameset within the past couple weeks.
weird that he didn't mention the difference in what he actually got vs the ad pic.
maybe it will be informative to whoever brought this thread back to life...

It does indeed look very different from the picture to the on in the link. I think I am leaning towards getting the pake now since it seem more reputable. I cannot find any info on the Vuelta brand frame on the internet.

Scroda - Do you happen to have any more of the pake track blue frame in 55?

i dunno the rear spacing, although not conventional, dosn't seem to be a big deal. probably made that way on purpose to fit 120 or 125 hubs. i thought a few mm's of squeeze on a steel frame wasn't a big deal at all.
the seatpost size is funky but it says it comes with a seatpost....

if you can actually take another 20 percent off with a coupon and its a new cromoly frameset for 60 bucks....and you need a frame for a beater or commuter....i dunno, seems like an awesome deal to me. i dont want it myself, but i would get it if thats what i needed. actually....if i needed a bike polo bike i would scoop this up....never played but have thought about it....anywhooooo my 2 centz

That is my bike in the pics.... The frame is the Vuelta from Nashbar... came in a Vuelta box, Vuelta decals..I think the Nashar pic was touched up....

It's not a bad frame for $70.00

Rear spacing-non issue... I'm running 120mm rear with no problems...

Downside to this frame is weight and paint... The thing is heavy.... I'll guess close to 8 pounds for frame/fork/seatpost... Paint is very thin and scratches easily.....

I bought the 53cm- it measured 53cm center to top of the collar. Top tube is 52cm actual, 53cm virtual...

I managed to squeeze 32c tires in but not all 32c will fit... 28c no issues

I'm using it as a rain bike/ pub crawler.....it suits those purposes just fine....

scrod, the pic quality from nashbar isn't that great. is it possible the seat stays really do look like that but you just can't see it in the nashbar picture?

No way. That's a different frame in the pic. Which means Nashbar is sending out slightly different frames than they're advertising. But at that price point most won't care.

Until anyone sees more pics, there's no way to actually tell. I still think it's a different frame but in all honesty, I don't really give a crap.

Wow, I would totally get that for a cheap polo build. I've already got wheels cranks and bars to toss on it... I wasn't planning on spending $65 bucks (plus whatever te shipping costs) today, but dang.
