Just beautiful, Stan!
Then again, as a Waterford rider, I'm also biased. Love a nice steel frame decked out in Campy. Your Paramount is striking.

You already said the Finest was nice and light, which it is. So what exactly do you want? You say you want something even lighter, and speed you up without any work? Sorta weird.
A lighter bike won't suddenly make you go faster, save on hills and quick acceleration. Even then, the difference is minimal. And if you're the type of guy who wants to go faster without any work, I doubt you'd even notice the change.

I used to own a similar bike(same frame) in the early 90's, but it fit me better back then. I've been trying to decide if should replace the headset(it's indexed), get a shorter stem and maybe a carbon fork, or buy a new Flyte frameset to build up.

Customized Bianchi 9-2-8
Took me forever save up/build this bike, but now it's my dream bike:
Bianchi 61cm 9-2-8 Carbon Frame
Topolino Wheels (These are AWESOME, by the way)
Campy Record component group (except Chorus front/rear derailur)
Record CT Compact Crankset
Phil Woods BB
Deda Einstein Stem
Specialized S-Works Carbon bars
Fizik seat
Conti tires
(Look KEO pedals, but they're on my other bike right now)
What do you guys think?

Just got fitted last night by my local pro bike shop. Just getting back into cycling after a 20+ year haitus.
It's the Specialized Tarmac Expert, but I don't know yet which color I'm getting, depends on the dealer's stock. All Ultegra components more or less, changed to a compact crank and IRD 11-28 cassette, and upgraded the wheels to Mavic Ksyrium SL's.

I have a number of Specialized bikes (Allez Comp, Langster, Sirrus Sport and a Roubaix Pro) and love all of them. Last week I had a problem with the Roubaix. Specialized said it was covered under warrantee and they'd replace the frame. I asked if I could pay to upgrade to the S-Works version and they said no problem and no extra charge.
The whole process took less than a week.
Big ups to Specialized (and any other manufacturer) who stand by their product. Specialized you have a fan for life.
Here's the rebuild.

Just seems a little strange to me but again..a big congrats!!
I presumed that they are probably hard to move (in Australia) and the new line are probably in the works. I also wondered if the huge difference in cost between the Pro and S-Works was just for the S-Works logo.... but, hey, who cares. Specialized did me right and I'll tell the world what a fantasic bike company they are... are you listening Specialized... My next bike is a S-Works Stumpjumper HT.
