Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I took the oath and do wear a white coat in the office. But I take it off for telemedicine. I still wear a decent button-down shirt and tie. Good enough.

Thank you for letting me leapfrog you - I thought you were going to run away with the week. I mean, you still might, but it'll at least be a little more respectable.

Not this week, not with two likely blanks.

Really good ride today. I mean, there was some construction bs and I almost got sideswiped, but that's just little stuff. More importantly, I felt like I finished a longer ride pretty strong, rather than limping home - the last ~two hours were actually faster than the first ~three and I had an NP of over 200 over that back stretch. That feels like nice progress.

People who declaw their cats aren't fit to own a cat. If you are going to be owned by own a cute, fluffy, killing machine slightly shredded furniture and legs is just a small price to pay.

We owned a declawed cat - well, he owned us, really. He was already declawed when we got him. Apparently declawing wasn't enough to make him really wanted by his original family. Idiots! George was one of the great cats! Big orange tabby. He and our Eskie were tussle buddies.

Okay now this is just getting confusing.

This week has already been long enough, now I literally had to check to see what day it actually was

Three people on my activity feed posting long to long-ish rides on this Wednesday. I need to figure out how to get in on this free-time-in-the-middle-of-the-week thing.
