Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not exactly appropriate for this forum, but it is Cycling-related.

Got a good deal on a used Yeti 575, you know how it goes with N+1. Incredible bike, huge upgrade from my old hardtail.

I used my new Spurcycle bell last week for the first time.

Passing another cyclist on a climb. A single ding.

It was elegant.

Shimano SPD-SL R550 pedals. Right pedal broke mid-ride - the torsion spindle/pin that attaches the back clip, i.e what keeps you clipped in was coming out one side. My right shoe barely was clipped in. Limped to the LBS and they replaced under warranty. I guess I didn't really purchase, but since I gave up a half hour of riding, and time=money it felt like it.
