Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not really, not if you want to time in seconds of even half minutes, and not rely on two blinking dots between the hour and minute indicator...

If I'm riding for an hour, counting down to the last second is the farthest thing from my mind..

I may just be nit-picking, but the Strada (non-wireless) is rear-wheel only. You would not have any wires wrapped around your fork.

[Edit] I might be wrong, I just remembered that it comes in cadence and non-cadence. I have the cadence version, which is rear-wheel only... I don't know about the non-cadence.

Carry on...

I bought the Strada double wireless (speed, cadence) and was unable to find a satisfactory mounting position. For those of you considering this product, be aware that there is only a single sensor unit that detects both speed and cadence. It fits fine on my MTB, but it will not work with my touring bike's longer chainstay. I ended up returning this product.

I had it on my first bike, and it does what it needs to do. If I recall, the reason I upgraded to the V2C when I got a new bike is because it didn't do average cadence (I could be wrong on that). I love my V2C, but it's currently collecting dust; I got an Edge 705.
