Thought you might have been burned out on cycling. It's been going around.

I was going to go out for a longer ride, but decided to roll with the guys, instead. On the way home, I was acutely aware that I was under 200 miles for the week and was tempted to roll a little longer, but I hadn't had any lunch and was getting the shakes somethin' fierce.

It was already getting ugly by the time I got home. We had stopped off at a brewery and there was a sign that indicated a gyro food truck was supposed to be there. It never materialized. Beer and real social interaction distracted me from the impending crash. At the same time, we were all close enough to home (~7 miles), that stopping off someplace else didn't make sense.
I'm kind of tempted to go back out now, just to warm the legs back up a little and then stretch/foam roller; I was in devour mode when I got home, never got around to the post-ride routine and now the legs are a little stiff.

I’ve been feeling burnt out to and I don’t know why. Usually when I am at work all I can think about is getting home and riding my bike. This trip I havnt been looking up forward to it at all. This burnt out feeling is new to me and I don’t like it. Hope it goes away soon.

It happens. If you still don't feel like riding when you get home, don't ride and take care of your other business... but if you have some time, I'd take advantage of the opportunity to give it a good once-over and get rid of those little noises that you've been hearing; you've gotten in some good miles on it and it could probably use some love. I honestly find a quiet, smooth bike much, much more enjoyable.
That’s my plan as soon as I get a second. I need to clean and re lube it. I have my last little bit of white lightening, and will be done with that nasty stuff. I swear it’s only good for like 100 miles and then you have to re apply. I am hoping some one I know has a chain wear tool that I can use really quick. I am really interested in knowing if I have already reached 0.5 yet. If It’s past that then I will stop riding until I can get a new chain and wax. My plan was to buy two chains and switch them out every time I wax them, but my bike fund is depleted and havnt had a chance to replenish it.
My front derailer rubs when I am on big ring and on the three largest cogs. I had tried to get it to stop when I first got the bike but it would start rubbing from the other direction. I shrugged it off because being a flat lander I never use those gears. With that being said it’s something else I want to address.

105. I didn’t know trim was a thing when I got the bike. And it was rubbing bad. So I attacked it with park tool videos and did my best to fix it. It wasn’t until whyfi mentioned the trim that I realized I was a dumb ass. It probably came from CC dialed in and I messed it up.

Was the lender not able to give you a close prediction? We wired most of our down payment and there was a small difference when we got to closing.
Double check the math so you don’t have the same thing happen to you that I went through.

Never did that. I did go to Long Beach once the day before the GP and saw some practice and watched an Indy Lights race, That was amazing. They also had a celebrity race, I think Toyota Celicas, and Greg LeMond was in it as was Queen Latifa.
I used to go to Ascot Park, a 1/2 mile dirt oval, and watch the sprint cars. We would sometimes stand in turn 1 and get pelted by balls of sticky mud.

Rained out this morning, on the last day of the month.
....so it's a good thing that I hit my 1,000 mile goal for the month yesterday (1053mi total).
