It cost me $25 to have an additional 1 inch of threads cut on a used fork I bought. Some of the replacement forks on the market have the threads cut too low. You don't want to have the steerer weakend by threads where the stem wedge will be.

If that's in reference to the eBay fork, though the pictures look like it would fit, the sellers measurement of the steerer is too short for my 25" frame. I asked an eBay question to confirm the size which has yet to be answered.
