I'd suggest avoiding whatever contributed to your other thread. https://www.bikeforums.net/cyclocros...rides-row.html
Oatmeal. Quaker Old-Fashioned, 5-minute cooking time. Sometimes no sugar, just butter and salt. Usually a bit of sugar and I'll cut up a banana and cook it along with the oats.

Before: Oatmeal or protein bar
During: Gel
Snack/social break: Coke if the weather is warm. Mocha coffee if it's cold.
After: Whatever is in the fridge. I'm partial to leftover-pizza.

Morning ride:
Breakfast: granola and yogurt or oatmeal, coffee
Afternoon ride:
Almond butter sandwich, maybe with a hardboiled egg
On the ride: maybe an almond butter sandwich or some pastry purchased from a bakery or cafe on my route
After ride: Whole Foods lime popsicle for sure, an almond butter sandwich if I didn't eat on the ride
The Whole Foods lime pops are fantastic! I strongly recommend them.

I often had a snack of fried chicken at the end of the day during my ride across the country, but I was riding 5-6 days/week and averaging about 60 miles/day fully loaded.

Curious to note: there are no paintings that exist of Henry eating a turkey leg. The pic above of Charles Laughton is more of an exaggeration as Henry although obese in his later years, had good table manners.

For a 3-4 hour ride,
Pre-ride: 8 Oz. Noosa yogurt with a handful of walnuts, and a lot of coffee.
During ride: Cool weather - plain water and a Clif bar if I'm feeling peckish, which sometimes hits after 2 1/2 hours. Hot weather, some kind of sports drink plus the Clif bar.
Post ride: a lot of water, a PB and honey sandwich, maybe a Coke, an apple, maybe a sardine sandwich.
Post-post ride: 2 hour nap that feels like falling off the world.

1.5- 2 hours before the ride: 1. egg, 1 egg white, 1 serving of oatmeal with some salt (no sugar) AND DEFINITELY COFFEE
During Ride: infinit Go Far: 2 scoops in 24- 28 ounces of water per 90 minutes cycling and some plain water as needed too
After Ride: Either Muscle Milk or Almond Milk with some protein powder
Lunch: A good balanced lunch fit for dinner with protein, complex carbs, lots of veggies finished with a fruit. I usually try to make the lunch a little salty to replenish some salt I may lack from the ride. The Infinit Go Far is good at replacing the salt, but the proper consumption is 2 scoops per hour rather than my 2 scoops per 90 minutes. I should attempt to drink more during my ride and see if I still crave salt at lunch.

But would good table manners in early 16th Century England be considered good table manners today?

For a ride of 100k or more I'll have a large bowl of porridge followed by toast with marmalade for breakfast, plus at least two mugs of tea. During the ride I'll drink either water with a dash of lime or hydration tablet added and eat fig rolls on the go. If I stop I'll have a chicken or ham sandwich, followed by a jam sandwich. Post ride I like a pork pie and a tin of Guinness Original.

Breakfast, 2 eggs, sausage and pancakes.
Ride, 100 miles 10,000 ft of gain, 7 hours 10 minutes. All climbing is in the first 62 miles (Ride Around the Bear/timed event)
Rest stops, 20 miles up, banana, few orange slices, 2 Gu's.
50 miles in, lunch stop, turkey sandwich, best turkey sandwich I ever tasted.
2 bottles of gatorade during the ride, the rest water.
At the end of the ride, felt like a champ!
After the ride? Everything I could get my hands on at the post ride BBQ.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
100 mile flat solo ride 5:45........Same breakfast
Clif Bar at 30, turkey sandwich at 60. No Gu.
2 bottles of gatorade, the rest water.
Felt like a champ at mile 90....don't care to eat a whole lot on rides. Only use a couple gels on big tough rides. Not much into supplement type cycling goods.
After the ride, not much. Don't have much of an appetite after long rides.

Oh, you're talking metric centuries? In that case, either fasted or a small bowl of oatmeal before, a granola bar or banana during, and a protein shake (if it was a higher intensity ride) and a regular lunch after.

For breakfast I normally consume cereal and milk.
Then on the bike, I'll eat approximately a hundred calories per hour, which would typically be a clif shot or half a clif bar.
Then when the ride is over it's the age old question: Burrito vs. Pizza.

Out of curiosity, how many of you eat comparable breakfasts on a day where you don't go for a ride?
