Brief stop on Old Airline Hwy to reapply sunscreen. It’s been so unusually cool this year that 90 seemed incredibly hot.

Red barn in the background- seemed to be a motorhead garage, all sorts of toys and the road in front of it was thick with rubber. Somewhere deep in Pennsyltucky.

I worked for a guy who did that sort of thing. Cop wrote him up for 90mph with the "front wheels a foot and a half off the ground". Judge was a drag race fan and wanted to know what engine, etc., and gave him a slap on the wrist.

Lots of long, straight, flat roads here in central Florida! At least they never have snow on them so we can ride all year.

Check out how many long, straight roads there are around here, and mostly flat.

This is a bit of a stretch, but if you look closely, you can see the road ahead. This part is the steep section on a little 5 mile/2k' gain climb.

I was riding around Caravelle Ranch WMA not too long ago. Hot day. Lots of biting flies and cow pies.
Deserted except for herds of deer and cows.
Road basically petered out.
