Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks. Spokes are run-of-the-mill silver DT Comps.

WHOOOSSHHH- no doubt, a great looking build. Everytime I see this, I keep thinking maybe I should buy a set of Boyd 58s. They look just right.

This is from late last year. I now use a Garmin and a cadence sensor but everything else is the same. (Still need to cut the steerer tube) 2010 SL Club built up with Full Sram Force. This bike rides exactly the way I would expect it to and want it to.

Here is the touring bike. Obviously it serves a much different purpose, but setup with the same gearing but all Shimano 105 Stuff, TRP Euro-X Brakes so I can use anywhere from 700x23 - 700-42 tires. Currently 700x28 Bontrager AW Race lites.

Yes, those SMP saddles look like they have ED but that turn down nose doesn't grab your shorts when standing on a hill climb.

Tried flipping the stem but man my hands just couldn't handle it. Looked nice, though.

I'd say this one qualifies as a black bike. Nice job!

That's exactly what I think everytime that I see one of those SPM saddles.

I normally do not like this trend to all black bikes...but the bikes on these pages are all very nice. Thank you for posting!
