Thank you all for the kind words.
@Well biked
The seat is a Brooks Swift (www.brookssaddles.com). On the condition of the bikes: Only not so nice bike is the '88 ValleyRunner, though functioning is great. The others are indeed in very good shape and some even like new or NOS. Nevertheless I do really ride them, but they simply do not wear so quicky as I can ride only one at a time.

Don't think so. They are no 250GTO's or Royales and besides that I wish to ride them when retired.

Here is my old Shogun Mtn bike that I've converted into a singlespeed for winter commuting in Minnesota.
I don't know what year it is... late 80's? Steel lugged frame, Tange fork. I replaced the wheelset, added a new stem and the moustache bars & levers. Lot's of fun.

Here's my Schwinn Ned Overend Team Issue Project KOM-10, made in June 1988 in Greenville MS. I put about 15 road miles (25 km) on it instead of one of the road bikes today, because we've been having scattered showers. It's fun offroad, and it's a great foul weather friend onroad.

I have two mountain bikes, but am not sure either qualifies as "vintage". Both are special in their own way.
Here's my 1991 Schwinn-Montague M1000 "BiFrame" folding MTB. It folds around the seat tube for traveling on public transportation, but is a very solid full sized mountain bike when unfolded.
Here's my 1997 Schwinn Homegrown Factory Suspension.

1994 (?) Univega Boralyn S8.9 Metal Matrix that I picked up brand new, never built up, from a shop closing in Milwaukee a few years ago for $75 cash. Not bad for a $1,200 frame that was one of the reasons the original Univega company shut down in the mid-90's.
It's built up with modern compnonents to 21.1 lbs. I have ridden it only 3 times and it is simply a rocket with very smooth trail feel. I'd love to ride it more, but it is too pretty to risk.

My low-res, washed-out photo does not do it justice; it's a great-looking bike, and it is always fun to ride a red-white-and-blue Schwinn on national holidays. By the way, the evolutionary dead-end braking system (long levers, low-pivot RollerCam and UBrake calipers, under-chainstay rear brake) works superbly.

By the way, I see a pair of King Stings up on Ebay - look to be nearly NOS - starting bid is $2500, though.

I bought the blue '84 with a similar parts spec - not the Mafac brakes - and raced it for 84 and 85 (until the LBS caved in on the price for the pink '84 Team...). It was miles better than the Schwinn Sierra that I started racing on.

Here is my 86 BRIDGESTONE MB-2. I have the original seat as well as the original wheelset with five speed freewheel. I have switched wheels to modern XT/mavic and redished so I can run the seven speed parts I have. Does anybody know if these early Shimano derailers will index with SIS correctly?

Granted, I don't expect to get something as nice as those in a straight trade, but I'm looking for something I can make that nice eventually. I also love my brother's Colnago:

https://www.firstflightbikes.com/1988_Schwinn_KOM.htm
Their Schwinn mountain bike history chart shows Paramountain production ending in 1987, with the KOM-10 replacing it as the top-of-the-line model for 1988 and 1989.
https://www.firstflightbikes.com/schwinn_specs.htm
I have read elsewhere that only about 2000 KOM-10s were made, so I'm keeping it.

I just measured it and it appears to be an 18" or 19". Unfortunately, as I was measuring I noticed something looked funny with the left rear cantilever. I applied the brakes and it fell off! The brake boss broke off, so I'm assuming it was very weak in the first place because I only applied enough pressure for the pad to touch the rim. Guess I'll have to figure out how to fix it now...
