Yes, you’re learning.
That will do, and he’s a good seller.
But.
You could also have purchased a new Shimano UN300 cartridge style BB in the same size for $16 with free shipping from Amazon, would work just as well.

Hey Doc, I found the Shimano UN 300cartridge style BB for $16 on Amazon. The one I selected comes in sizes: 110 mm,113,115,117.5 and 118. Earlier you mentioned that any BB 113 mm to 116 mm would work. So would 113 mm or 115 mm be the best option? there's always more to learn!😮

Looking for 26.0 seatpost

I'm looking for a 26.0 seatpost. Hopefully >200mm length, since it's for an old mountain bike. I'd prefer a post with an integral seat clamp to a pillar style, but other than that, quality and condition don't matter. Let me know what you have and what you're looking for!

116-115=1.

116-113=3.

Less difference is better ... right?

You don't need to do maths, it's a type A vs. type B error decision.

If it's too long the crankarm will move out an extra mm or so.

If it's too short something will hit the chainstay.

I think you are right; I was going on provenance.

From what I've read a Triomphe might be better for me, this is to run on a Campag GS triple, 52-42-35.

Cage height would be a good thing to put in a table.

Did you find anything? I noticed a set of Modolo levers on eBay this morning and outed them in the "are you looking" thread. Not sure if they are there correct model.

Does anyone have a nice gray saddle they'd be willing to part with? Or know of where I might find one? There are 2x Selle San Marcos in a nice color on fleabay but they're quite pricey so I wanted to do some looking first.

ISO a pair of non-aero Dia-Compe levers with black or brown hoods in reasonably good shape for my Fuji America. I have lots of mid level parts to trade or green stuff

I have what I believe to be a 78 America. It came to me with Dia=Compe calipers and Superbe levers. I just want to match them up before I wrap the bars.

r0ckh0und's 78 Fuji America

so your ideal would be Superbe levers, eh?
That may be more than I have kicking around, but I used to have some BITD, might have long moved along.
I'll take a look.
Or you want to get rid of the Superbes (made by DC if I remember correctly) and replace with some more "generic" or down-market DC-branded levers?

Agreed. Any Campagnolo Record-compatible hood (repop, Modolo, A'me, etc.) will work.

There's usually plenty on eBay. Unbranded reproduction hoods are the most affordable.

Have the wrong shifter lever (Suntour Power)

Got this is a box, I'm in need of match to the longer lever - the shorter one is a bar-end.

I don't mind if the longer one is not a mirror-image (they are handed) as I can modify it.
