Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Those look like the 2016 Roubaix options. Beyond knowing the 2016 colors, another key giveaway is the lack of an eTap build. 2017 Tarmac and Venge have eTap options.

Also, I think my wife is getting me one of the Purple Allezs.

After looking at this again, I think you are right. They were showing some 2017 SL4 bikes at one point I think (lower end builds) and that through me off.

The new model looks awesome. We have some on order, so I'll get to ride one.

Looks like the new framesets aren't available in Canada. They aren't listed on the Canadian site anyway. I've reached out to a few close(ish) shops in the US about trying to secure one of the purple frames for me. If anyone knows a shop close to the border that has the inside line on these let me know. I'm in Toronto but can arrange something near most major border crossings.

The new Roubiax frames are up on the website too but no mention of new technology, all of them are the standard SL4.

Yes. Looks better in person. I expect someone will surprise us with a good looking build. I think the black/white and purple/zebra have potential.

Couldn't see that my end, thanks. On the pricey end of the market but I guess that's the premium on the fancy paintjobs.

It's probably some for the paint and a premium for those who want a custom build. The SL version comes with Tiagra for $1400.

Yeah. I'm trying to get one shipped over here to the UK and it might end up being too costly. Really love the white with chrome fork version you can also get.

Additional Color Schemes?

Anyone out there know if there are plans to release additional color schemes for these frames? And, if so, when that might happen?

I would expect they'll extend/modify the range after the holidays in the run-up to spring. That may include new frameset colorways. Hard to know for sure.

Purple one would be my favorite but the fork ruined it.
