Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The fact that you bothered to constructed one for that suggests you are quite bored.

It should only take a few seconds to make the gateway calculation that doing so is a real reach.

We have a few stink bugs flying around. They are not very graceful at flying. They do keep the cat entertained, though.

Heidi tells me they don’t have them in LA.

Oh, feral pigs are wild. You can believe that! Just try getting close to them!

Out here there are black beetles that we call stink bugs. When threatened they stick their butt in the air and exude a nasty odor, Sometimes I see them walking in the road when I'm on the bike.
Bug Eric: Big Black Beetles: Coelocnemis

After dirt biking in the desert I would change clothes for the drive home. I was driving on the freeway and felt a big stink bug crawling up my leg inside my pants. Freaked me out a bit because I didn't know if it was a tarantula, or what. I managed to get it out of there.

I was sleepy/bored, so I went to bed early. I wake up thinking it to be about 5 a.m. and it's not even 3 a.m. yet. Now what am I supposed to do?

Lesson learned.
