Keep in mind, that a 14 ga. nipple will screw on to a 15 ga. spoke. Then strip when tension is applied.
Odds are that all your spokes use 14 ga. nipples unless on an old 10 speed.

If I had known for sure who had done it I would have done the world a service by taking the old dull cable cutters and making sure he'd never reproduce.
