Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looking at the video again, I’m willing to bet the trailer got stuck on the hump at the crossing. That may have lifted the drive wheels of the tractor off the ground or maybe even caused the trailer to become unhitched.

Somehow I didn't know Tennessee's best running back (by far) was injured until this game started. That was a bad surprise.

I'm with you. Hard to say if reverse was an option, but that's usually the last thing thought about. Trying to power out of in the direction that got one stuck, usually doesn't work.

The Huskies are struggling this year. Not doing so well in the gold helmets/pants bowl.

Oooh, Huskies TD!!! Maybe they'll keep the momentum and dominate the second half.

I was in Venice in 2008 and again in 2014. In 2008, they were having flooding problems and smelled a lot but in 2014, it was beautiful.

And while talking about the coliseum, the coliseum in Verona is in better condition than the one in Rome.

I've been dogging it because I've been trying to connect with some old friends and they are really slow. Also, rain and wind hasn't been helping, either.
