Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Products ? ERGON BIKE

It is identical to the seat post that comes on some new enduraces.
For some reason it is not available in the US market. It looks like a simple and straightforward solution. Unless it breaks.

I just checked this out at Sea Otter yesterday. (It was one of my main priorities.) Erik, of Redshift fame, was kind enough to trust me with his bike, and I got to experience both the stem and seatpost. Based on my positive experience (and the extensive positive reviews of the stem), I placed my very first ever Kickstarter order for the seatpost/stem combo.

However, with the price and weight I may pass. It is tempting though- I wonder how it handles chipseal?
Not a fan of chipseal (I ride 23's), but I prefer to just use a softer compound tire with lower pressures.
