I rarely wear my HR watch to bed since my cardio doc tells me not to worry but I did wear it a couple nights recently to see if I was still running upper 30s while sleeping and I still am.

It wasn't even far enough to be a proper Hail Mary, like this.
Throw it to someone. Maybe they'll catch it. Or maybe someone will catch it on a deflection. Or maybe pass interference.
Or try to bulldoze into the end zone. Or lateral it to someone else. Just don't do that.

during my 2 week Holter monitor test my low heart rate was in the upper 30's but I was on a beta blocker that lowers heart rate. Who knows what it is now that my fitness is hot garbage.

Heard from the Sram rep yesterday. She suggested using a different device to run the axs app from . So U used my work I phone. It tried a different version of the update. Still no worky worky. She then asked me where I am located, to see if there is anything she could do for me because of my no warranty situation.
and now we wait.....

Sounds like last page lockout, or lplo. Happens to me sometimes. Just post something and it will take you to the last page.

The Garmin, paired with your power meter and HRM, should be able to give you a better idea of VO2max than the watch, I would think. Low 50s is very good for a non-genetic freak.
My Fitbit is weird for resting heart rate, I don't get it. It'll usually indicate anywhere between 47-53 (it usually goes up and down with the amount of recent training stress)... but it's not unusual to see low 40s throughout the day, even if they peg my RHR at 52

Garmin says it’s 52 as well, I think apple is getting it from garmin. I think I have everything synced up.
My three year old daughter is better with these devices than I am.

Hope it gets resolved. I didn’t even know this was a thing.
Forgive my ignorance, but did you take it to the LBS to see if they could do anything with it? You mentioned the FD not shifting right is there any other kind of issue?
The first day I had my bike, I downloaded the app and I was trying to get my shifters to wake up. I kept pushing the button and didn’t realize I was making micro adjustments. Rode it the next morning and the shifting was off, I could figure out why.

I had my first LPLO last night. I thought it was a myth.

Nah, Apple almost certainly calculates it independently, as does Fitbit; neither would have the feature if it relied on users to have peripheral gear like a power meter.

Yup. I believe most wearables use an algorithm based on HR response to exercise and a set of population tables for age and sex. They derive a relationship and estimate the max, based on submaximal data. Probably accurate within a few points in most people.

Not surprisingly, my new Fitbit, which seems to do a poor job of reading HR on a bike ride outdoors, dropped my Fitbit VO2max estimate by 4 points or so. Bastards.

Hahahaha If they can’t run 90 ft full speed without throwing up then sports is not for them. Maybe golf or cheerleading.
