Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

88 of VV’s 147 pounds are water. He should embrace it.

That grille seems way too big for the rest of the car, funny thing is that it's just for show. This is a rear engine vehicle.

The fake grill treatment allows for a larger trunk. By making the trunk more spacious, you can buy two pairs of shoes and fit both shoe boxes in there.

I don't identify with the joke NFL. I support this juggernaut team known as the mighty Owls.

Whew, putting that hitch receiver back on the van was a major PITA. Eventually got everything mostly ready for towing. Unfortunately whenever the trailer lights are plugged in, the van's lights are no longer automatic, so I'm going to have to relearn how to turn headlamps on and off when needed

I am back in injury world. The left knee again. Two tough rides this week, the second of which did the trick. I haven't ridden since Thu. I fly Wed., and am considering going ahead and packing the bike. I can't quite pull the trigger, but Tue. is packing day anyway, and I foresee no riding between now and then.
Sad!

How long does packing take?

I would guess that assembling takes longer than disassembling, but I've never done either. Nor do I plan to.

That's hot! I wonder how that wheel/tire setup would look on my Ti bike.
