New Tange headset.
New complete housing and cable set. shifter and brake.
New Mike Giant special art edition cinelli bar tape.

Custom 42 cm Davidson on ebay (not mine but I built the frame)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/145520043707
I don't know the seller and I don't remember the frame, but I can tell I built it by a few of the details. No one else at Davidson did the seatstay tops like that for instance. That's my patented "half-fast" seatstay cluster, which I prefer over a fast-back. And lighter than the usual investment-cast top eyes with the Davidson name cast in, since those are solid steel and these are hollow tubing right out to the end. So you'll be screamin up the hills, without all that extra seatstay top eye mass!! (OK it's really rather inconsequential, I just like 'em.)
Made for 650c wheels. 650b will not work, but 559, aka MTB 26", will work. Narrow crown and limited space between the chainstays, so skinny tires only and not intended for fenders, a pure road race frame. As you know though, road racers make excellent sunny day tourers for pavement. Fender can be MacGyvered to work.
Davidson threw away all his build records, and he never used serial numbers, so there's no way to know exactly when it was made or what tubing, angles etc. But probably around 1990 or a little after, definitely not newer than '94. Almost certainly made of Tange Prestige in a very light gauge like .7/.4, or could even be .6/.3, I did make a few in that crazy-thinwall stuff. It'll be very light for a steel frame for sure. But plenty stiff and strong enough for someone small enough to ride it, perhaps even overbuilt.
Otsuya seat lug, not sure on the head lugs but probably Eisho and reduced in size by me. Takahashi BB shell, the best BB shell ever made IMHO, also trimmed down a bit by me for light weight (or the "lightweight look"). Takahashi MER crown, Shimano vertical dropouts.
Someone please get that heavy steel headset off there, looks wrong on such a light frame.
$550 seems like a low price, but probably reflects the niche status, very few people looking for this size. There is a "make offer" button — do you feel lucky?

EDIT: more info from Bob. It was made for the wife of our Pearl Izumi rep at the time. He's 6' 6" and she is 5' 1" I remember the P-I rep now, nice guy, I probably pulled out all the stops for his wife's frame.
ebay seller is not the original owner, she sold it some years ago. She rides a custom cabron frame from John Slawta (Landshark) now, a downgrade if you ask me!

Nice price for a Columbus Tenax frame. I've always liked the color scheme on these.
