If you do that, you should email/facebook Bike Walk RVA. It's an advocacy organization run by my friend, and he's done that ride a few times with groups of people when they're going up to DC to support a rally or just for the hell of it.

Also, just to remind everyone for the 99th time how awesome this day was, check out this video of our crowd on Libby Hill going nuts on the last lap-

I hope I can be in a crowd that passionate again at some point.

Governor's Street is not easy, especially after doing the other two cobbled climbs. Our local group has started riding Libbie Hill as part of our winter Sunday ride.

Thanks for the tip about Bike Walk RVA. From my limited experience it seems like RVA could use more bike paths. Once read about a guy who rode from DC to Florida on Rt 1, dude musta had nerves of steel. Libby Hill made a natural amphitheater. Didn't see myself on that video, if one goes to events like this one shouldn't wear black clothes to be spotted on camera--maybe one of those novelty Cat in the Hat hats.

Was re-watching end of U23 race last night, amazing how Ledanois held on for the win, real nail-biter.

Me too, on the local saturday worlds ride today, I was telling my buddy who I haven't seen in a while that I went to Worlds, was telling him all about it, such a good time, so glad I went. I need to get some pics enlarged and hanging on my wall.

Thanks, awesome video. I like how it started all in slo-mo & then went to real speed. TV had a 1-hr World's summary show which was OK if not great.
