I’ve also got some Aeoles 51s and Conti GP5000 TR s tires going on next. Plan to use the Bontrager strips and hope the beads stay out when deflated.

What are the 21.5 wheels? If Bontrager did you use the rim strip or tape? I got Paragym 25s with rim tape that unseal when deflated so tempted to get Bontrager strips.

Sheesh - kind of glad that I didn't find a good price on them. I'm not seeing a reason to go with these over the NEXT that I ended up with (which I'm really liking, btw - the more I ride them, the more apparent the difference in suppleness vs the P-Zero.

No, I hadn't! When I was shopping, the Control review wasn't out yet. Thanks!

I wasn't impressed with the ride of the P-Zero. I liked the GP5000TL quite a bit better. The Corsa Pros I'm on now seem small step better than the Contis, in that regard. I don't know how they compare to the NEXTs, though. Vittoria has a long history of making tires that feel nice, but sometimes at the cost of durability. Hopefully, the current ones are better.

the P Zer0 4s TLR Race have so far given me 'overall' confidence. The sealant in the tire didnt have to go to work when exposed to some debris that may have challenged my Pro1's durability. Would like to have tried 32 or 34 width, but no dice.

The GP5kTL is the only Conti I've used, so I can't compare to any of the previous models. Other than a couple of sidewall slash issues, I like them a lot. At the moment, however, the Vittorias hold the spot as my favorite, but it's still the honeymoon phase. A good price from Lordgun convinced me to give them a try. I probably would not have at full price.

I got the GP5k S TR on Amazon last week for $65 each. I didn't think that was too bad.

If they're your tire, it's not too bad, but I'm of the opinion that there are a lot of tires out there that are worth trying. That in mind, at any given point, you can usually find some manufacturer's flagship tire for 50 bucks or so, sometimes less.

If anyone sees the T2/T5 Turbo 2Bliss 30s on sale, I would love to know. They are now $80 per tire.

Have not tried to seat them with a hand pump, only the flash can. Just put them on Saturday so I have not deflated them to check sealant. I'm just keeping them inflated for now, and we'll see how it goes. They hold air well.

First time using them, but it was about the best deal I could find at the time. With only 25 miles on them, I like them. We'll see in 1,975 more.

The pro1 tle had a tough time with the hand pump in getting it started, & after "rolling" the tire some it started to inflate.
with a floor pump or compressor, it wasn't a problem.

Specialized is a tough one - they have minimum advertised prices and region restrictions. Any sale essentially needs to come down the line from Specialized, unless you happen to find a shop terminating their relationship with Spec and closing out their inventory. Your best bet for getting anything off might be to ingratiate yourself with your local dealer and see if they'll cut you 10% or something.

Sometimes it’s different from tire to tire. WhyFi said Schwalbe TLE pro-one did not stay seated for him, but they did for me- same wheel I believe (Zipp 303S)

I like speed
I recently went through a pair of these; they seated easily with a track pump on my Zipp 303s. I ran the tan walls for several months before the rear got a series of punctures. I liked them but they were less puncture resistant than the last gen SWorks Turbo's.

In fairness, every tire that I've tried with the 303S has seated easily with only a track pump. Coming from the earlier days of road tubeless, it almost feel like a cheat code. Then again, that should probably be expected with the more stringent compatibility specs.

After a long absence, Lordgun finally has 28mm Vittoria Corsa NEXT back in stock, currently at the low, low price of $36 and change - this is a good opportunity to grab a few (shipping is usually ~$20).
