What would you replace on my bike?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That helmet could use some more pink; but it still screams Crockett and Tubbs.

I'll start as mine is definitely not ready for hot or not.

This is my first road bike in over 15 years (after not riding in just as long of time). In time the whole bike will be replaced, but for now, I want to waste my money on upgrades.

2011 Fuji Roubaix 1.0

Other than cutting the steerer, putting an all black seat post and a larger chainring what else would you guys change?

Personally, and it's just my opinion, I would never ride that bike like that. If I wanted a bike with that extreme of an angle to the bars I would have to commit myself to an insane institution.

I was referring to the Wilier bike you pictured in your post, I'm 60 years old, there is no way I would put my body into a position to ride that bike...at least not for more then a mile or two; my hands and back and crotch would want to commit murder against me if I rode any further!

I haven't hit that extreme yet, but I do find that the more I ride, the more "aero" I can get. I'm also only 33, so my back is still in pretty decent shape.

Also...whoever said wheelset for my bike, wins a prize. Will have to post up some new photos once I get them on.

I'm 35..so far my back (and crotch) can take it... But I'm seriously considering getting a frame one size bigger
It will be interesting to see your bike set up

Go here for a pic of my latest and now newest bike taken by Matthew at Adrenalin bikes before he shipped it out: https://www.motomatt.com/wordpress/wp...5/IMG_0594.jpg

The bars are even with the saddle, but I may drop the bars a half an inch, I haven't decide yet though.

If it was my bike I'd cut the steerer. I've been putting off cutting mine a bit too long

To post a bigger picture upload the picture onto an image website and copy the link or upload to facebook, then open the image in a new tab, copy the link, and insert the link in a post.

I like the black saddle much more than the white. looks balanced. I never want to hear you say, "I'm just not very flexible." again especially if you lowered your stem even more lol.

Make some friends with bike shop owners/mechanics. Research how to do it if you decide to diy because theres some important stuff to know. I'm still waiting to cut mine because I'm messing around with my fit.

Noticed you didn't get any response. I'd go with a different crankset (something black) with praxis rings. Cut that periscope above your stem. Bottle cages that are more aesthetically pleasing.
