1983 Specialized Sequoia Vintage Bike $500 Elkhart, IN
1983 Specialized Sequoia vintage gravel bike. Chromoly frame. Size large (not sure on exact size). Designed in Japan. Rare bike. New brake lines, brake pads and bar tape. Tires are 38c gravel tires and have plenty of tread left. All original components minus the saddle. Bike shifts well and is good condition other than some scuffs and scrapes on the frame.

Even if you like the look of the crankset, the spindle was a bad idea which makes it worthless IMO.
There might have been stories of folks forcing that crank onto a "normal" square and tapered spindle but I never did it so cannot endorse the practice, YMMR.
and BTW this one also has one of the Death Forks, not sure which iteration but one more thing a buyer would need to consider.

Bike is sized for a male over 5 ft. 6" tall.

More of an all-terrain bike (ATB) and can make a great touring or commuter bike. Made in the mid 1980's, this retro machine uses a 4130 cro-moly frame, with fastback seatstays, mounts for a rear rack, and Suntour forged dropouts with axle adjusters. Riser handlebar is classic OG mountain bike, mounted up with original grips. Brakes are Suntour roller-cam. Bike rack with saddle bags and frame bag included.
