We didn't need to lock the Dahons as we ate in places that are bike-friendly..

Thanks for sharing Sam. The food pictures help to make the trip look even more exciting? Was it hot?

Life there has certainly changed. More clean and urbanised since I was last there in 1990! Great pics tho'. Thanks.

Wish we could have been there. How many days did you stay ? Can you provide rough costs - say hotel, street food etc. If you were to do it again, what would you have done different ? What's a must see and do on the island from a cycling prospective ? Bike safety, traffic etc ? Sorry for the questions.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Seems a shame you only visited Koh Samui..about the worst place to visit for traffic in Thailand after the large cities..Had you gone to Chumpon on the mainland by ferry you would have found wonderfully empty beach roads ,friendly people and much cheaper prices..The ride from Prachua Khiri Khan to Hua Hin is wonderful through Sam Roy Yot..as is the road north from Chumpon..Alternatively south from Koh Samui by ferry to Don Sak and then down to Songkla would have been good also especially around Sichon...

It was a slow leak.. hahah!
We are planning a Coast-to-Coast ride in the US sometime in 2015. A friend of ours who works at the NASA Flight Research Centre is organizing the ride.. So, we're saving up..
Thank you!

Great pics. Brings back memories of my trip to Ko Samui ten years ago. Wish I could afford to go back.
