Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I swear I read somewhere that the Thule is 35 pounds, which makes it kind of tight to get under the 50lb bag weight limit. Or do you guys pay extra anyway?

I bought a bell. I've never had a bicycle bell before. One area I ride through has an ordinance that requires I have a bell. I bought the bell hoping I could find a way to conceal it under the saddle of my main ride. I wasn't able to. But it looks nice and works well on another bicycle.

Go BIG or go home, I always say. They pass a law saying you need a bell, then give them a BELL

Scrapped the Forte Titan wheelset and bought Shimano 6800 wheelset. Love them! And Garneau jersey. Also got new bar tape, but I dont know how I feel about them. Any Suggestions? I was thinking some kind of green or purple.

I don't think green or purple bar tape would be a good look. stick with black, the bike looks great.

It might. The frame has pink, purple, blue and greenish tints in the paint. I had Cinelli kaleidoscope tape which were nice.

I'm a lot skeptical. Then again, I'm also of the opinion that bar tape should be black or white with very few exceptions....

KoolStop Salmon 2 pack.

Will be getting a new tube soon since I got my first flat. Didn't see the glass at night riding home. Dammit. Good thing I had two in the pack, but now need to replace the one I had to use, bummer.
