I used to climb and descend this trail but the last 2 or 3 times out there I have climbed the shallower way up and only done the descent. I guess I have purged that climb. The video doesn't show how steep it really is.

Only vaguely. I rode Sycamore once about 20 years ago. I remember the ride being really awesome.

I've done well over 200,000 miles on road bikes. I don't think a compassionate god would begrudge me a few hours on dirt.
