Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pro One Addix Evo TLE. Just make sure that they've got the orange '1' logo on the sidewall or you might end up with the previous gen version without the Addix compound.

Side note: tagging seems busted.

edit: and it seems that Schwalbe has released another model, confusing their line-up even more. Looks like a lower TPI version with the Addix compound, the One Addix TLE.

I’ve been happy w/ the GP, 2300 miles without a flat, but always willing to try something else

I think that I got 2600 or so out of my first Schwalbe rear tire. Conti doesn't want me to use their tires on the Zipps, so I can't compare, but they're very good tires.

The Michelin Power Road Tubeless, Vittoria Corsa TLR and Pirelli P Zero Race TLR all seem to be in the same vein and are on my list to try out.

wow! That’s super impressive. When I did analytics for a BH company, we saw a lot of positive outcomes from TMS treatment.

I was quite skeptical for years, but I'm a believer now. The problem is the shrinks are still using Mark's and my crappy technique from 1993, which was frozen by the FDA clearance. The science has advanced a lot in the meantime and a few innovations could greatly improve outcomes.

Michelin isn’t on the list for the Zipps, is it? I was literally looking last night and that’s the one omission that gets me. With how happy I am with the Protection Plus I’d plan to at least try the Power Gravel.

I haven't looked recently, but the Zipp list is pretty young and incomplete. In addition to the Zipp list, I look at the ENVE list (which does have the Michelins) and those manufacturers that specifically mention that they're good on hookless. Basically, the Conti GP5k are the only tire of significance to me that's off-limits.

Huh. Looking at the Zipp list, I see Goodyear listed. I didn't even know that they were doing road bike tires, let alone 235g 28mm hookless/tubeless road tires... with tan sidewall options. Will have to see if I can dig up reviews.

Edit: damn. I read that chart wrong. 300g for the 28mm and no tan sidewall. Womp womp on that count, but the reviews look mostly positive with a couple glowing.

I have a lot of bad memories from the late '80s/early '90s of drinking skunked Canadian beers. Especially Moosehead.

Oh yes, they even have a rep over on WW. Supposed to be good, but who knows? I was interested in trying the Pirelli Gravel H but too many reports of terminal flats, from reviewers and end users.

I'll put 'em on the list. They're in the ballpark of performance tubeless road tires out there. Retail pricing doesn't seem to be too bad, but it also seems like there aren't as deep of discounts to be had at this time.

Hadn't heard of them. The Schwalbe G-One Allround are nice along the lines of a gravel tires without too aggressive of a tread, though those Pirelli have more aggressive shoulders. What's the gravel like down there?

The best price on the Corsa, for the last year or so, is at Excel. They have pairs for $89 or singles for $49. They also have the Corsa Control, which have a little more/wider tread, for $94 pair and $49 each. I've been thinking about getting a pair of regular Corsa and one Control for the rear during the gritty spring. After wearing through the Control, I'll have the second Corsa to pop on in mid-summer or so (I like to buy tubeless in threes, one front to two rear).
