I only read a few of PCad's posts on BF since I don't frequent this forum but his posts were always worth reading. I was saddened to hear the news. His presence will be missed.

Horrible news. I haven't spent much time around here lately but back in the day Pcad posts were always worth reading because the guy was as entertaining as anyone I've ever met. His wit and sarcasm were remarkable, my kind of person. Enjoy the roads in heaven, buddy. You're already missed.

like many others - I've been gone for years but this is the best place to pay my respects.

RIP Pcad. happy eternal astral trails, roads and monster mashing on both. we will all miss the experience and advice subtly hidden beneath the snark, disdain and tough love faux grumpiness.
you deserved to grow older and legitimately grumpy.

In tribute, I would like to post more of the old BF images I have of Peter as Pcad. For whatever reason, he seemed to relish being a target of ridicule, while at the same time, no one could argue his passion wasn't real. It was all about the miles. Staggering mileage at that! Horrible weather, injury, nothing stopped him. Here is a nice one dated 2006.

Someone took liberty with this one, shopping PC's head onto a Walmart bike salesman. I seem to recall him saying something like, "Hey, it pays the bills. I need the extra money for my lavish lifestyle and necessary bike accumulation. You should try working for once."

And then there's this one. He posted a picture of him in an aggressive riding position, asking for fit and posture tips and advice. Someone crafted this image with plenty of what was asked for.
Asked for fit and posture advice, got back plenty.

Terribly sad news. Best thoughts to his family and friends. Peter and I were born in the same year. Gives me pause as I generally don’t concern myself with cars outside of the typical built in awareness we all have as avid road cyclists. I will be more vigilant.

Not sure if this was ever posted on BF or not. Doesn't matter. It was printed in Road Bike Action magazine.

Some of his favorite topics, interests and Pcadisms as part of this BINGO card. Hey, to get to almost 100K posts, you can either talk about many things, or just a handful of things, over and over again. He would say repetition is necessary for weenie roadies. It's the only way we are able to learn. And who can argue with that? Actually, he could, and often did, argue with himself.
